Rock 'n Roll & Remember Anchor

It all began with a local Philadelphia television "bandstand" dance show in July of 1956. One year later in August 1957, "American Bandstand" premiered on the ABC Television Network coast to coast.

Not only was it an instant hit, but its host, Dick Clark, became a hero to young America and to a new style of rock 'n roll singers and bands.

Dick Clark has remained an American icon for the 44 years since 1957. Though he is a successful as a television host and producer and music entrepreneur, Dick Clark is still identified with the music of early rock 'n roll.

The music, artist and personal memories of those days come alive every week for four hours of Rock' n Roll & Remember heard Sundays 1:00-5:00pm on WOSO.
